Almost 272,000 people in our seven-county service area don’t know where their next meal is coming from. One in four children in North Carolina is at risk of hunger. We believe that all children should have the opportunity to succeed in life and live up to their full potential. As of 2015, there are 546,959 children living at or below the federal poverty level in North Carolina. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle was founded in 1998 and is one of the top mentoring agencies in the country, serving more than 1,000 of these children each year. Learn More
